This beginner-friendly fundamentals class will introduce you to the core mechanics of pole dancing. It focuses on building strength, coordination and confidence to execute movements on the ground and aerially. Students will learn basic grips, climbs, floorwork and pirouettes, while conditioning their core and upper body for future progression. No prior dance experience is required.

Serena has been training in pole and aerial arts for over three years and her background includes studio training, competition, and professional pole performance in the adult entertainment industry, giving her a unique appreciation for the many ways people connect with pole—whether for fitness, artistry, self-expression, confidence, or performance.

As an instructor, Serena is passionate about creating a welcoming, body-positive space where students of all experience levels feel supported in their individual goals. She believes pole is for everyone and strives to help students build strength, confidence, and a deeper connection to themselves while prioritizing safety, growth, and having fun along the way.
